(BOINZ) Building Officials Institute Of New Zealand Accreditation is not a membership, but a stringent process whereby an accredited inspector establishes and demonstrates that they are compliant with the New Zealand Inspection Standard (NZS4306:2005) and have the knowledge, qualifications and experience to carry out thorough, compliant inspections. Accredited Building Surveyors are dedicated to quality building surveying practices, ensuring consumers are provided with the best quality of service and an understanding of the issues presented in relation to the building concerned.
We work in strict accordance with the New Zealand property inspection standards
Within New Zealand there is a standard for property inspection, although compliance is not mandatory. Accredited Building Surveyors are accredited to this standard. Our Property Inspections are carried out in strict accordance with NZS 4306:2005 – The New Zealand standard for property inspections. The standard introduces consistency and reliability into the Inspection of residential properties, to ensure that as a far as possible, significant defects and high risk details are identified. If you choose to engage an inspector who is not compliant with the inspection standard, you are risking you investment and potentially a healthy and safe home.
